Okay, so while Babbaj, 0x and I were decompiling and looking over the recent "leak" of the godmode exploit mod, we found a few things.
First of all, it loads classes dynamically from an encrypted byte array at runtime: https://imgur.com/a/bWYMZCY
Second of all, it connected to a socket on port 8080: https://imgur.com/a/YJOZmUi
Third, if you look at the second screenshot, you can see it sends 14 things to the server. The two we've been able to find out are the number of chests around you and your ip. Definitely one of the things is your coords.
tl;dr: It's backdoored, and sends coords and ip and a bunch of other things to a server.

Refine and continue to modernize our iOS app in React Native and Objective-C (and Swift! Brackets be gone).
What you should have
A solid understanding of Android development frameworks and app fundamentals, RxJava (Android uses this extensively), Kotlin (not required, but our app is mostly Kotlin!), and functional reactive programming patterns.
