okay gamers i want to do this coord offset thing, but first i want to make sure everyones on board with the, like, premise, of it before i sperg out. it's obviously completely plausible, but will take a few hours idk. what do you guys think of ACTUALLY doing this meme: i write a mod that offsets coordinates at the lowest possible level as they come in from the server. literally rewriting all coordinate data to subtract away a constant number away from X and from Z. the effect would be that even though you're at 0,0 on 2b2t, your client thinks you're at 420,69 (in every way. f3, block coords, journeymap, EVERYTHING). we start this cool sky base and make sure its actually gonna be good. it's a reasonable distance from spawn. then we make a troll post on the subreddit or on youtube: mason announcement! hause just patched our tp exploit, so we're going to abandon this base in mason fashion. the coords are 22M, 13M (or something similarly ridiculous). we're going to live stream the final hours or days of this base. we continue building and streaming until the first griefers arrive. the idea being to troll the fuck out of ppl into traveling 20m+ blocks for no reason, we aren't even there. they'd get trolled since everyone will be super casual on the stream about coords, f3 constantly, /w ppl in chat "wait where are you building again" and /r with the troll coords, pull up journeymap (with the fake coords), etc etc etc etc

okay gamers i want to do this coord offset thing, but first i want to make sure everyones on board with the, like, premise, of it before i sperg out. it's obviously completely plausible, but will take a few hours idk. what do you guys think of ACTUALLY doing this meme: i write a mod that offsets coordinates at the lowest possible level as they come in from the server. literally rewriting all coordinate data to subtract away a constant number away from X and from Z. the effect would be that even though you're at 0,0 on 2b2t, your client thinks you're at 420,69 (in every way. f3, block coords, journeymap, EVERYTHING). we start this cool sky base and make sure its actually gonna be good. it's a reasonable distance from spawn. then we make a troll post on the subreddit or on youtube: mason announcement! hause just patched our tp exploit, so we're going to abandon this base in mason fashion. the coords are 22M, 13M (or something similarly ridiculous). we're going to live stream the final hours or days of this base. we continue building and streaming until the first griefers arrive. the idea being to troll the fuck out of ppl into traveling 20m+ blocks for no reason, we aren't even there. they'd get trolled since everyone will be super casual on the stream about coords, f3 constantly, /w ppl in chat "wait where are you building again" and /r with the troll coords, pull up journeymap (with the fake coords), etc etc etc etc
