imo the fact, that bases stay safe due to trust among base members and are constantly endangered by griefers make the game and the community way more interesting. being able to actually have something ungriefable would take out the thrill for me

I always see the emotion that goes into a build, because that's how it is for me, but not everyone is the same, it did occur to me when I was out there and I was alone that I was not in a safe place, that there would be people looking. Same when I was building at the lodge, the number of times my mind played tricks and I thought I saw movement or a tracer only for it to be in my head.
