I'll be honest, I took the brony initiation pretty badly. I know that brony has some quirks. He unironically likes my little pony, which is objectively a weird thing to do. When I first met him, I was wary about that, but I quickly realized he doesn't talk about it much at all, and he has so many positive qualities beyond that. I invited him to this discord because after working with him for several months, I could tell that he was a really friendly and interesting person who really wants a group to join and doesn't stir up drama. I had a lot of stake in him as an initiate because I like him, and I felt like it was a sign of my credibility to only invite good people. When I saw that a majority of people that were talking to brony had good things to say about him, it reinforced the idea for me that he was a good person to bring into the group and that felt good. No one seemed to have negative opinions about him, other than a couple people joking about him being a brony, which I figured was just classic spawn Mason memery. Then, when his vote failed, I was just simply confused so I tried to lightly investigate. I asked why people voted no and most people said that they just didn't know him well enough. That's fine. But some people said they weren't interested in knowing him. It seemed to me that people were passing judgement for one reason or another without giving him a chance, and that really hurt my feeling. I took it personally, I'll admit that. And I'm sorry. After that, it became really hard to ignore what seemed like personal attacks and insults not only against myself , but against others, which led to fighting that never should've happened. (edited)

We have worshipful that do nothing to benefit the group and we have brothers that do more that most of them combined! The admin & server owner rolls would be indistinguishable from the other brothers & there only "power" would be over discord admin stuff like posting announcements people want made & giving ranks etc. The lodge leader would change on a weekly basis and for that week they would be in control of the meeting, agenda & building of the lodge. You guys have this all wrong. You do know that SpawnMasonry is a spin off of FreeMasonry right? It makes no sense to get rid of Worshipfuls and then put in admins. We literally just use the Term Worshipful to refer to the admins of the group. Getting rid of this term would be like getting rid of the title Brother. It’s one of the few things that gives us that tie. @Brother Oppenheimer I get that you want to change the group for the better but I am disappointed in how you went about doing so. In your first few hours as Worshipful, without being voted on mind you, you went out of your way to not observe the methods we previously used in there. Before we brought anything to the main group we talked about it first. You rushed into this ill-conceived tangent right away. On another note: Not everything about your idea is bad. A good portion of it is in tune with the lesson of our third degree. If you spent some time discussing it with us first, then we could have brought a polished version with the good parts. Sometimes they make unpopular decisions, but in general we have been better on account of then. If I wanted to roleplay direct democracy, I'd join another group.

So dielo asked how a few things worked as of right now Spawnmason rank is taken away by worshipful when we feel one is clearly lacking interest or care, and this would show in presence at meeting, voice, discord and in-game and we will simply give it back when they become active again we tend to not make a big deal out of this On multigrouping we have no restrictions right now and i think this is a good thing. we pull people from other places on the server and other groups because we expect them to have done exceptional things on the server it would be wrong to demand them to cut ties with their own groups and if there is something against a person of a certain group then you can still vote against them for that just like highland fanboys would not even get vouched for in the first place if you have anything against these ways of handling then please tell Additionally were gonna propose a few things at the meeting that allow us to follow the rules regarding vouches without getting 10 initiates at all times because just 2 people think they fit This would be that a spawnmason can only vouch for ~~someone~~ [a specific person] once, so if they fail it requires 2 others to vouch The other is to allow some sort of veto system when a person gets vouched for at the lodge. If several people have something very against the proposed intiate, to that level that the vote later on will for sure not pass, then they can veto. Question remains on how many people need to veto so it makes sense (edited)

I am not a member. We have members with dual memberships present as well. Perhaps at the next meeting we should discuss protocol for limiting our involvement and responding if we are targeted for reprisal in or outside of game?

I think thats a good idea looking forward, but for now we just need to get the people who have problems with each other to settle their differences, or at least not drag everyone else into it.

I think we are going through a transitionary phase at the moment. Not everyone likes this, hence frankfurt, ain and henry leaving. But I feel the tone is very nice in here. We are doing wonderful things and I enjoy the loges (Entropy's last week just blew me away - still does) - then the baritone train to smibville after. Beautiful. We are here to have fun together and we do, there is voice activity every day, if you are bored. Just join vc and there are nice people. We are doing more and more and I think growing organically, like we do is very healthy. We are a stable group with interesting people from all walks of the server. Our latest recruits have been great additions and enrich the experience - at least I think so. State of Spawnmasonry is good (edited)

I feel like this has been taken a bit out of hand, but this was obviously a revenge grief. What the problem is, is the fact that the spawnmasons were a major part of cloud club. This isn't to say that emperium can't do their own shit as they see fit, but having organised the grief right after a spawnmason meeting is a bit lack luster to say the least. I'm of much the same opinion as @Brother leijurv, if a bit more optimistic. Having been recently removed from VoCo in their internal drama this may be a prime opportunity to poach him. If he's a good player giving him the opportunity of an initiatory process will give us the opportunity to suss out whether he would attempt to inside us, is as nice as he seems on the surface, and whether he makes a good fit for the masons. I don't know him well enough to vouch for him, however.
